Web Addresses, People, Notes and Events are encrypted in the database. The server holds the key required to provide the service: Unseenly is not a “zero knowledge” system.
We do not sell data, use behavioural advertising, profile users, commercially analyse saved content or build relationships between users.
During the Beta we measure only numerical and time-based events that help us understand whether the service works. Product telemetry does not record content, URLs, keywords, IP addresses or visited pages.
Message content is destroyed on the server when it is successfully read or expires. After reading, only a minimal technical receipt remains for a limited period.
We do not use advertising or profiling cookies. We use Cloudflare Turnstile as a technical security tool to protect sign-up and the Contact form from bots.
You can delete individual items or your entire Unseenly. Technical backups may temporarily retain copies until they are rotated; dedicated ledgers prevent a restoration from reactivating deleted data.
Reports sent through “Help us improve Unseenly” are not associated in the database with your email address or Space.
If you write through the Contact form, we use your email address and message only to handle the request. The general contact is support@unseenly.me.
